Job summary

Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a motivated Reverse Engineer 2 to support critical government initiatives in Annapolis Junction, MD. This onsite role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and offers full-time employment with a salary range of $148,700–$165,300.

The candidate will analyze malware, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and collaborate across teams while ensuring security and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Experience supporting government or DoD programs.
• Malware reverse engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Doctoral degree with 2+ years or Master’s with 3+ years or Bachelor’s with 5+ years or Associate with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Info Systems or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance.
• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code to ascertain functionality and indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
