Job summary

The Los Angeles LGBT Center seeks a Director of Major & Planned Giving to lead major gifts and planned giving strategies, managing a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and guiding a small fundraising team. You will collaborate with senior leadership to drive campaigns and stewardship.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, you will develop donor engagement plans, exceed revenue targets, and advance the Center's mission for LGBTQ+ communities across Los Angeles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
8–10 years in major gifts fundraising.
Experience with planned giving strategies and donor portfolios.
Proven leadership of fundraising teams and senior stakeholder collaboration.
Strong ability to develop reports, proposals, and presentations.

Responsibilities

Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors and prospects.
Supervise two Major Gift Officers and one Planned Giving Officer.
Lead campaign planning, donor engagement, and stewardship activities.
Collaborate with CEO, board, and volunteers to secure major gifts.
Develop and monitor fundraising metrics and revenue goals.
