JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Major Accounts Director is responsible hunting targeted new major account to grow the existing customer and managing corporate clients across the United States according to established regions. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, and revenue growth within large organizations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hunt targeted new major accounts to grow the existing customer base.
- Sell, qualify, and close opportunities with large-size corporate accounts.
- Lead account strategy and execution to maximize profitability and retention.
- Negotiate complex contracts and pricing agreements tailored to corporate needs.
- Maximize the number of existing customers with corporate agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts for long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, upselling, and cross-selling within major corporate clients.
- Conduct strategic account analysis and build an account plan with Account Manager support.
- Follow and manage opportunities from start to finish.
- Actively develop new opportunities within existing large accounts.
- Maintain partner relationships at a strategic level (C-level executives) to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare an annual business development action plan for achieving account acquisition and sales volume objectives.
- Provide regular reports on account performance, revenue growth, and client engagement.
- Execute the GMR Safety sales process and validate qualification criteria.
- Identify customers' compelling reasons to buy and build urgency.
- Build prospecting lists of major accounts to solicit.
- Work effectively with all company departments.
- Participate in shows and networking events relevant to business development.
- Participate in internal meetings, training, and coaching.
- Optimize travel for time and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize and update projects in the CRM.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPÉTENCES REQUISES
- 7 to 10 years of experience in C-Level corporate sales;
- Skills in negotiation of major accounts;
- Competencies in hunting, asking questions, selling value, differentiating, qualifying, and closing sales;
- Personable and strong at building relationships;
- Expertise in major account strategies, and proactive in implementing solutions;
- Knowledge of the warehouse environment (asset);
- Excellent sense of responsibility and accountability for business results;
- Strong interpersonal skills (teamwork, self-control, attentive listening, tact, and diplomacy);
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite software and CRM;
- Bilingual English/French, both spoken and written;
- Ability to travel (Canada and the United States) – approximately 25% of the time.
