San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) is recruiting for two Senior Maintenance Workers. All vacant positions are located in the Facilities and Engineering Division at San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC). SJC is a seven (7) day a week, twenty-four hour a day operation. This position may be assigned to work any days of the week or be assigned to any of the three shifts.
This position is responsible for leading a combination of groups up six to eight employees comprised of Maintenance Assistants, Maintenance Workers I/II and Facility Repair Workers. The majority of the work performed by the Senior Maintenance Worker is highly skilled repair work in the field. The Senior Maintenance Worker position will have a flexible schedule to be determined at a later date. Specific job responsibilities include oversight and management of special projects, work orders, parts acquisition, expense tracking and various service needs related to the maintenance and operations of the airport’s physical assets.
Salary Range for Senior Maintenance Worker is $97,572.80 - $ 118,67684.80. The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience.
