SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Senior Maintenance Technician position is to provide demonstrated sub-journeyman-level work in a designated craft. Performs routine maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment, systems, buildings, and grounds, as well as their associated responsibilities, with minimum technical supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Under limited supervision, performs inspections, troubleshooting, and routine and preventative maintenance on various equipment, buildings, and utility systems using one or more craft trade skills. Maintains records of materials, jobs, and other pertinent information. May investigate outages. Coordinates and prioritizes the workflow of other technicians. Functions as a point of contact for vendors. Prepares and submits reports. Participates in process improvement initiatives. May direct and instruct staff as necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent. Five years experience in one or more crafts (i.e. - plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, instrumentation).
