Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for primary planned maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and documenting procedures to improve equipment availability and performance.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or GED and typically 2–5 years of related experience, with the ability to read schematics and work under general supervision.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred and may require specialized skills training or certification.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across production, operations, maintenance, safety and testing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems using schematics and defined plans.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment; evaluate improvements to increase availability and yield.
• Document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures in technical reports.
• Coordinate with Contract Maintenance personnel and oversee related activities as required.
• Train Operators on Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and develop PM/AM procedures and training materials.
• Maintain shop and equipment inventories, parts, and supplies.
