Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery and production equipment, perform installations, and manage preventive maintenance and work orders in a fully onsite manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley, Fanuc), diagnose electrical circuits from 24 to 480 VAC, work with hydraulics and pneumatics, read complex drawings, follow safety procedures, and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Three-Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively to associates of the organization.
• Experience in the use of care of a variety of tools, equipment, and machines is essential.
• Working knowledge of all the construction trades is required, including electrical wiring, electronic controls, troubleshooting of PLC’s, machining, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and production equipment.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment; diagnose circuits.
• Perform installation, removal, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and servo systems.
• Maintain documentation and work orders.
• Train new employees and promote team concept.
• Adhere to safety procedures (LOTO, Arc Flash) and electrical shock prevention.
