Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of site systems on a 24/7 basis. The role includes repairs, troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance, and documentation per GMP standards.

You will work independently or as part of a team, applying judgment to solve complex issues and adapt to changing priorities. Strong mechanical, electrical, and utility system skills are essential in a fast-paced pharmaceutical

Qualifications

Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a general maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
A.S./A.A. degree or journeyman license with relevant hands-on experience is acceptable.
Prior experience with general utility systems, boilers, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

Perform and document corrective and preventative maintenance of architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and utility systems and equipment using the CMMS.
Train on and follow applicable SOPs and work plans.
Adhere to safe work practices.
Troubleshoot and repair facilities, equipment, and systems including motors, pumps, boilers, chillers, and water systems.
Provide recommendations and assist with improving maintenance methods and with root cause investigations.
