Job summary

WGNSTAR, located in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Full-Time maintenance technician to operate, maintain and upgrade mechanical systems in a controlled environment. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, repairs on building and facility equipment, and strict adherence to environmental and safety standards.

Local candidates only; salary is $23 per hour, DOE, with full benefits. The position requires experience with mechanical systems (exhaust, chillers, vacuum pumps, electrical systems)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as exhaust, chillers, vacuum pumps, electrical systems.
• Experience performing general industrial mechanical work, including instrument calibrations.
• Written and verbal communication skills. Organization and time management.
• Able to adhere to a stringent environmental compliance culture and willing to work a compressed work week schedule.
• Work in clean room environments and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and performs minor upgrade projects on mechanical systems.
• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on building and facility equipment.
• Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
• Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and works within defined parameters.
• Receives general instructions and reviews of job plans for all work.
