Job summary

Wonderful Citrus is seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic to support the Shop Manager in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of nursery and farm equipment. You will independently complete tasks and assist during peak seasons, troubleshooting pumps, valves, gearboxes, switches, gauges, and lubrication controls both in the shop and in the field.

Requirements include 5+ years in maintenance, ability to read schematics, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
5+ years in a maintenance related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with hand and power tools, electric and pneumatic.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation and assessments of mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, fittings, gearboxes, switches, gauges, lubrication controls).
Carry out preventative maintenance on panels, motors and pumps in nursery and field.
Perform live/dead tests on electrical circuits and inventory management.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and support management with tasks.
