Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician III to install, inspect, repair and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of systems across the property. The role covers mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety and waste management, ensuring safety and quality at all times.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong safety ethic, and the ability to work independently with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Full proficiency in a broad range of maintenance and repair activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety standards and work with codes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Address safety and waste management system issues as required.
• Complete basic facilities maintenance tasks such as painting and carpentry.
• Log and track maintenance activities using a work order system.
• Coordinate with Property Manager on move-ins/outs and make-readies.
