Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to provide technical support on complex components, devices and equipment, including CNC mills, lathes and grinders. The role requires an associate’s degree or equivalent experience, strong problem-solving and leadership skills, and experience with ESD practices, soldering, and LabVIEW/Excel.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety and compliance while contributing to a team that

Qualifications

Requires an associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience handling small delicate components using ESD practices.
Soldering and wire bonding experience is a plus.
Experience with computer applications such as Access, Excel, and LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on complex components, devices, materials, products and equipment.
Interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams and engineering specifications.
Diagnose causes of electrical, optical or mechanical malfunctions and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills, lathes and grinders; service test equipment.
