Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for full-time operations. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile, HVAC, painting, and related repairs.

The role requires leadership in the maintenance team, safety-minded work habits, and the ability to train newer technicians. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, trade licenses, and a Certified Pool Operator certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with trade licenses a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in facilities.
• Licenses in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Tile, Welding, HVAC or painting are preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator and First Aid certifications are required or preferred.
• Proven reading of blueprints and effective communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality building maintenance for members and guests.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile, painting, and HVAC tasks as needed.
• Train and mentor staff; lead daily maintenance activities.
• Keep tools and inventory organized; report issues and repairs timely.
• Ensure safety and compliance; follow PPE protocols and safety rules.
• Assist with loading/unloading, inventory, and general repairs as required.
