Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance, basic carpentry, painting and electrical/plumbing tasks. The role reports to the Director or Facilities of the Facility Manager and supports the Ridge Wellness Social Club.

The position requires reading blueprints, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years’ maintenance experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator certification preferred.
• Current First Aid or other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
• Ability to read building drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior quality building maintenance to meet the requirements of members and guests.
• Maintain tools and maintenance equipment in working order. Keep maintenance room organized.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks to inspect equipment and report issues.
• Perform simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, and locksets.
• Change light bulbs and fixtures; perform basic electrical tasks.
