Job summary

Sitnasuak Native Corporation in Nome, Alaska is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support special projects and maintain residential and commercial properties owned by Sitnasuak Native Corporation, Sitnasuak Properties, LLC, and Bonanza Fuel, LLC.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of building systems, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and related equipment. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, safe tool use, and operate a company vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with maintenance experience preferred.
• Preference for Universal CFC certification and HVAC/refrigeration certs.
• Knowledge of heating, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair office, residential, and commercial rental buildings.
• Troubleshoot power distribution, lighting, transformers, and wiring.
• Inspect and PM generators, pumps, water heaters, motors and valves.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, boilers, and plumbing for design compliance.
• Perform interior/exterior painting and carpentry work as needed.
• Use power/tools safely and assist with special projects.
