Job summary

Vanderlande in Atlanta is hiring a Maintenance Technician III to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor and sortation systems from main equipment disconnect to end devices.

The role requires a high school diploma, industrial maintenance experience, and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills. CMMS exposure and welding fabrication experience are preferred. Shift work, 24/7 operations, and no travel are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum technical experience in an industrial environment.
• General mechanical and electrical troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
• Competency in electrical, mechanical work related to conveyor and sortation systems.
• Experience with welding fabrication is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Communicate status of work to various stakeholders.
• Interpret engineering drawings for layout and operation.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technician Apprentice.
• Schedule preventive maintenance tasks to ensure completion.
• Report through CMMS and document activities.
• Respond to control room messages, faults and alarms.
• Attend to call outs, faults, alarms and warnings.
• Handle stoppages and bag jams as needed.
