Job summary

Cytiva, part of Danaher's life sciences portfolio, seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair complex lab utility equipment and to operate building utility systems for lab operations. You will document all activities in CMMS and supervise external vendors on site.

MA-licensed electrician/refrigeration tech with 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, automation, plumbing or HVAC is preferred; remote work eligibility and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• License as Electrician or Refrigeration Technician in MA preferred.
• 5+ years’ maintenance technician or licensed skilled trade experience in electrical, automation/controls, plumbing, HVAC, or related.
• Experience working with CMMS (Infor EAM) is a plus.

What you’ll do

• Troubleshoot, repair and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on complex utility equipment/systems that support building lab environments.
• Operate and monitor building utility systems in support of lab operations or equipment/system maintenance.
• Document all work activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Schedule and supervise external service vendors performing maintenance activities on site.

Who you are

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Massachusetts Licensed Electrician or Refrigeration Technician.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician or licensed skilled trade with extensive knowledge in two of the following areas: electrical, automation/controls, calibrations, plumbing/pipefitting, wastewater operations, HVAC-R, boilers/steam systems, RODI/WFI systems, pumps.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Licensed MA wastewater treatment operator.
• Experience working around lab environments.
• Experience working with a CMMS, preferably Infor EAM.

Salary

The hourly range for this role is $44-48. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
