Great Northern Twin Cities in Brooklyn Park, MN, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to troubleshoot and repair plant machinery. The role supports both the Plant Operations and Administrative Offices facilities.

compensation includes a base pay of $36–$44 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour shift differential. 3rd shift is Sunday–Thursday, 10:15pm–6:15am; first-month training may occur on 1st shift.

Senior Maintenance Technician – Overnight Shift (Plus $2.00/hour Shift Differential)

Pay/Schedule

• $36/hour - $44/hour - Dependent upon experience & qualifications (Plus $2.00/hour Shift Differential)
• 3rd Shift (Overnights): Sunday - Thursday from 10:15pm until 6:15am
• Training schedule preferred: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday for the first 1-2 months

Position Summary

Under general supervision and following established procedures, the Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing complex maintenance tasks for the Plant Operations facility and for Administrative Offices facility. Typical duties will include but are not necessarily limited to troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems, troubleshooting, and resolving semi-routine and complex plant machinery mechanical malfunctions, repairing problems related to hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and providing assistance for office moves, adds and changes as necessary.
