About the team: ZF Hebron is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the team! This position will work side by side with the other maintenance technician handling any maintenance, safety, or quality issues that arise for the industrial machines in the facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a strong performance level of completing tasks to meet scheduled requirements and business objectives.
- Troubleshoots Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Electrical Systems to repair machine equipment during unexpected and expected downtime events.
- Manages and completes the preventative maintenance schedule to ensure machine robustness and maximum uptime.
- Ensures all production equipment and tools are maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime.
- Proactively analyzes machine downtime to identify and correct mechanical problems before they occur.
- Tracks and ensures availability of spare parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime.
- Maintains clear maintenance related records.
- Coordinates with outside contractors on equipment and building repairs and to source the most effective repairs while minimizing cost.
- Provides input and ensures completion of continuous improvement projects.
- Performs facilities maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, minor electrical, and minor construction.
- Creates and maintains a safe and secure work environment.
- Works with and helps teams achieve goals and objectives that are set out each year.
Qualifications
- Coursework in maintenance related discipline; Electrical certification or industrial electronics education preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in an Industrial Maintenance position.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with total productive maintenance systems (TPM).
- Machining experience.
- Familiar with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to frequently lift 25–50 lbs., occasionally bend, twist, or squat, and perform fast‑paced repetitive use of both right and left hands.
- Flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing demands and requests.
