Job summary

Sellars Absorbent Materials, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift to support manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and fabrication tasks to improve asset reliability and efficiency. Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with expertise in electrical/pneumatic systems, welding, and working at heights.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and understanding of electronic drives and controls, building electrical and pneumatics.
Understanding of welding and fabrication, both small gage and mid-welder.
Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 30 ft.
Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production assets.
Perform efficient, timely repairs of nonfunctioning production assets.
Perform modification and/or fabrication projects to increase reliability and/or efficiency of the production assets.
Assist Maintenance Manager with projects and other assigned duties.
Responsible for the maintenance on physical assets, building and grounds.
