Maintenance Technician

UDR, Inc. and its affiliated companies are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Villaggio, an apartment community with 272 homes located in Mansfield, Texas.

Key Qualifications:
  • Technical or vocational certificate and/or degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in building and mechanical maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and drywall.
  • Knowledge and experience of HVAC and carpentry are a plus.
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and rotating on-call responsibility required.
  • Some locations require certification in pool operation (CPO).
Essential Job Functions:
  • Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service, repairing and restoring service within organization standards.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the community, ensuring grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, units, and common areas are free of debris and hazards. Report deficiencies and safety issues immediately.
  • Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy by performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repairs, painting, cleaning, and other maintenance activities as needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace, ensuring organization and proper functioning; request replacements and assist in inventory stocking.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
