Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr Maintenance Technician to maintain a large hospital campus in Temple, TX.

The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems, along with assisting in installation and modification of equipment and systems. You will lead by example under CBRE’s RISE values, manage work orders, and support energy management to keep systems efficient while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing or HVAC maintenance.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs+ and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Sr Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a large hospital campus in Temple, Tx.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Preferred experience in Electrical, carpentry, plumbing or HVAC maintenance.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
