Job summary

MCP Property Management is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team in Springfield, MA and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will perform skilled building repairs across residential and commercial properties, troubleshoot systems, and complete renovations with attention to safety and quality.

You will manage work orders via mobile tools, document time and materials, and coordinate with tenants and managers.

Qualifications

• 5 years hands-on property maintenance or construction experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and digital work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
• Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and finish work.
• Troubleshoot heating systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment.
• Handle apartment turnovers, renovations, and property improvements.

MCP manage residential apartments, condominiums, and commercial properties throughout Western Massachusetts. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot problems independently, and knows how to get the job done right the first time.
