Job summary

Anchor Hocking Company seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and facilities. You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and work with vendors to ensure uptime.

The role requires 7–10 years of manufacturing experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with team lift as needed. Training will be provided on safety and standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 7–10 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
  • Verbal interpersonal communication required.
  • Intermediate reading & writing (12th grade level).
  • Ability to understand and carry out standardized work instructions.
  • Basic math: count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide by 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to read weights & measures.
  • Apply common sense when carrying out standardized work instructions.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making. Asks for help.
  • Complex problem solving: identify problems and develop/ evaluate solutions.
  • Must pass Corelle Brands pre-employment physical test.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (team lift if over 50 lbs.).
  • Move about production floor for at least 8 hours per shift.
  • Grasp, push, pull and carry objects on the production floor.
  • Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair Injection Molding Machines, auxiliary equipment and facilities.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs; ensure equipment readiness.
  • Store and organize support equipment to prevent damage.
  • Read schematics, drawings and blue prints.
  • Communicate professionally with internal staff and vendors.
  • Operate maintenance equipment (mills, bandsaws, drills) and train others.
  • Follow safety rules/regulations in all activities.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Order parts/materials as needed.
  • Set up part removal robots for production operation.

Job description

The primary responsibility of the Senior Maintenance Technician is to troubleshoot and repair all Injection Molding Machines, auxiliary equipment and facilities.

Shifts: 3pm - 11:30pm & 11pm - 7:30am | Monday - Friday with weekend and overtime as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production equipment is in proper order, arrange for preventive maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that all support equipment is stored to prevent damage and organized for easy access and retrieval.
  • Must be proficient when reading schematics, drawings and blue prints.
  • Communicates professionally with all levels of internal employees, and with outside vendors as required.
  • Performs maintenance and repairs, proficiently operates all maintenance equipment (mill, bandsaw, drills). Trains subordinates in the same.
  • Ensures all activity/operations are performed according to company safety rules/regulations.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and implements solutions.
  • Specifies and orders parts/materials when needed.
  • Set up part removal robots for production operation.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma /GED
