Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our egg production and processing facility.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment during non-production and production times to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of pneumatics, power transmission, electrical troubleshooting, and PM software, with experience in food manufacturing environments and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Maintenance certification or equivalent experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing or Processing desirable.
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts and perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing equipment.
• Maintain and repair boilers, ammonia/glycol refrigeration systems.
• Coordinate with supervisors and document maintenance activities.
• Identify required parts and initiate purchase orders.
• Ensure hygiene controls before operations resume.
• Fabrication and welding as needed for plant repairs.
