Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and performance of fulfillment center equipment, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

You will perform preventive maintenance on automation equipment, utilize CMMS to manage distribution machinery, and lead safety improvements while collaborating with management and the maintenance team to optimize uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a facility, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
An Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology with at least 1 year of maintenance experience.
Completion of a recognized trade school program in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field with at least 1 year of maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance tasks and complex mechanical repairs to automation equipment, robotics, and other fulfillment center equipment.
Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices.
Mentors and develops other maintenance team members under the direction of management.
Maintains a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning material-handling equipment or distribution center facility.
