Job summary

M-D Building Products in Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and service production equipment, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and support capital projects with safety as a top priority.

You will read electrical prints, repair control cabinets, fabricate safety guards, perform PM on mechanical and hydraulic systems, and ensure a clean, orderly shop while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Industrial Mechanics, Electric and Hydraulics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain problems and receive work assignments.
• Excellent motor skills (hand/eye coordination) necessary to use equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service production equipment.
• Install capital and expensed projects with safety as priority.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using testing equipment.
• Read electrical prints and repair control cabinets.
• Fabricate safety guards for equipment.
• Perform de-energized PM work on mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Repair boiler systems and perform boiler repairs.
