Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience, property management preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Expert-level understanding in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care and appliance repair.
• HVAC, EPA & CPO certifications preferred.
• Strong communication with management, partners, vendors or residents.
• Basic computer skills and a valid driver's license.
• Available for on-call and after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure make-readies and maintenance projects meet WBPC quality standards.
• Maintain and update service requests using Yardi Mobile until completion.
• Train staff on trades to assess function and recommend repairs.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff daily.
• Hire, train, and develop staff; enforce safety policies.
• Lead safety meetings and communicate expectations within the team.
• Coordinate with vendors for installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Apply preventive care and timely repairs to protect asset longevity.
• Monitor department budget and bid specifications; ensure cost-effective purchases.
