Investment Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Idlewild Creek Apartments, a 215-unit senior community in Cornwall, NY. The role oversees daily maintenance operations, supervises staff, coordinates repairs, and ensures units and common areas are safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor at a multifamily community of 100+ units.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and collaborate with team members.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and property management software programs.
• Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies and participate in on-call rotations.
• Experience with plumbing, HVAC and appliance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Represent Investment Property Group in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per standards.
• Complete the make ready process to prepare vacant units for new move-ins, scheduling vendors as needed.
• Track inventory, return unused items, and notify the community manager about re-ordering needs.
• Schedule staffing of maintenance staff and coordinate with Community Manager.
• Train and monitor safe work practices and schedule training as necessary.
• Assist with inspection of the property and common areas to detect maintenance problems.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on vacant and occupied apartments.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity when interacting with residents and vendors.
• Complete required reporting using property management software.
