Job summary

Nuts.com is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Manager to lead maintenance at our Newark-area site, ensuring uptime, safety, and food-safety compliance. You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs and supervise four technicians, while optimizing parts inventory and vendor relations.

You will partner with production and FSQA teams to support operational excellence and lead small capital projects to improve reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years in reliability/maintenance within food manufacturing or distribution.
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance tech (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
• Knowledge of RCA and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily maintenance activities coordinating reactive and preventive work.
• Lead a team of 4 maintenance technicians and develop their skills.
• Manage parts inventory, maintenance spend, and vendor relations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, SQF, and food safety standards.
• Maintain CMMS records and documentation.
• Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead RCAs and FMEA on equipment failures.
• Track maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
