Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Maintenance Operator to support plant operations in the United States. You will troubleshoot, repair, and lead maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and production uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
  • Acts as a lead for machine, equipment and tool maintenance and repair with limited supervision.
  • Seeks opportunities to streamline and improve all production activities across teams.
  • Follows in-process inspection procedures, checks quality of work visually, and records inspections.
  • Occasional overtime or support for critical issues when needed.
  • Escalates barriers and issues to supervisor and support functions.
  • Knowledge and experience in general maintenance procedures.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 66,144.00 - USD 99,216.00 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What will you do?
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
  • Acts as a lead for machine, equipment and tool maintenance and repair; works individually with limited supervision.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to streamline and improve all production activities across all functional teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Follows in-process inspection procedures, checks quality of work visually, and verifies inspections by completing records.
  • Able to work occasional overtime or support critical issues when needed.
  • Escalates barriers and issues immediately to supervisor and necessary support functions.
  • Knowledge and experience in general maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and programs per company policies. This could include but is not limited to lockout/tagout, fall protection and any other safety procedures necessary to complete the work assignment safely.
