Job summary

Schneider Electric in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate maintenance activities, manage inventory, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will oversee work orders, PMs, and parts planning to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in maintenance roles, experience with SAP and MS Office, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach.

Job description

Join our maintenance operations team as an Maintenance Coordinator for our Methods and Maintenance Team and play a key role in keeping our equipment reliable and our operations running smoothly. You'll coordinate maintenance activities, manage inventory, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What will you do?

Manage maintenance projects, work orders, PMs, and inventory through scheduling to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Is responsible for organizing & planning maintenance tasks, monitoring and progress & budget, managing relationship with main suppliers
  • Is responsible for needs / resources balance (MRP,...) for equipment, tooling, and spare parts by managing needs of the maintenance department
  • Coordinate inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities and keep operations running smoothly
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and resolve technical issues
Main Activity
  • Ensure continuous needs/resources balance (MRP…) availability of spare parts inventory.
  • Balance (MRP…) availability of equipment, tooling, and spare parts.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the customer and communicate regularly (correspondence, emails, call, meeting).
  • Actively participate to SIM cycle 2
  • Manage the replenishment backlog (creation and rescheduling of the manufacturing and purchase orders)
  • Manage the backorder portfolio (BOL), the shortage and to take actions to insure the availability of product
  • Analyze stock discrepancies and perform adjustments.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and the other departments of the plant (Internal Kick off meeting)
