Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Maintenance Area Manager for the Sam’s Club Fulfillment Center 6845 in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead a growing team of maintenance technicians, develop strategies to optimize equipment performance, and coordinate cross-functionally to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and experience with CMMS and maintenance planning. A focus on safety, cost control, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in an industrial related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial, or related field is preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance budgeting and scheduling is desired.]
• Experience with Industrial Automation and control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize disruption.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement proactive maintenance measures.
• Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance technicians.
• Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost targets are met.
• Collaborate with vendors for parts and services at competitive prices.
• Lead large and small projects from planning to completion.
