Job summary

You will repair, maintain, overhaul, and modify equipment, install and inspect electrical, electronic, mechanical, HVAC, and material handling gear, and diagnose issues to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems and a license to operate mechanical equipment, with at least three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in mechanical field or combination of experience and technical/vocational training.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and related components.
• License to operate mechanical equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of fabrication and testing of mechanical components and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintaining, overhauling, modifying, operating and material handling equipment.
• Installing, dismantling and inspection of electrical, electronic, mechanical, HVAC, and material handling equipment and fixtures.
• Diagnosing and solving electronic and/or mechanical problems involved in the operation of the system.
• Recommending modifications to designs as needed.
• Assists other technicians in maintenance activities and training.
• Fabricates mechanical system components, parts and equipment.
• Isolates malfunctions, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, and logs reports and schedules.
• Develops skill blocks to improve personal performance.
