The Maintenance Mechanic III at YKK AP America Inc. ensures maximum reliability and peak efficiency of production machinery. The role independently diagnoses and repairs highly complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree/diploma in Industrial Maintenance or Journeyman card preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, motor controls, transformers, and AC/DC circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical ladder logic diagrams.
• Experience with CMMS.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose complex machinery failures using precision test equipment and fix to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair servo drives, motors, VFDs, Encoders, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules focusing on root cause analysis to reduce breakdowns.
• Fabricate custom parts using shop tools as needed for repairs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to lower-level mechanics.
