Job summary

Schaeffler Wooster facility is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III for the 3rd shift to maintain, repair and install electrical and mechanical equipment in the battery plant. You will support planned maintenance and start procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or journeyman card, or an associate degree with 3 years’ experience; must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. The role offers development opportunities in a global, equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Journeyman Card.
• Associates Degree with 3 years of experience.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and set up electrical and mechanical equipment, machines, tools or parts, used in a production facility assigned.
• Contribute to planning of maintenance schedules and execute respective maintenance assignments.
• Analyze technical issues, complete repairs and work orders with reference to electrical systems.
• Execute ramp up, setup and start procedures in order to prepare machines and equipment for operations.
• Contribute to installation projects on site, and support accountable Engineers.
• Support maintenance of technical documentations for processes and equipment.
