Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Maintenance Electrician III for our Battery Plant on the 2nd shift in Wooster, Ohio.

In this role you will maintain, repair, install and set up electrical and mechanical equipment used in the production facility, and participate in maintenance planning. You will analyze issues, complete repairs and work orders, support ramp up and start procedures, contribute to on-site installation projects, and help maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and Journeyman Card.
• Associates Degree with 3 years of experience.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and set up electrical and mechanical equipment, machines, tools or parts, used in a production facility assigned.
• Contribute to planning of maintenance schedules and execute respective maintenance assignments.
• Analyze technical issues, complete repairs and work orders with reference to electrical systems.
• Execute ramp up, setup and start procedures in order to prepare machines and equipment for operations.
• Contribute to installation projects on site, and support accountable Engineers.
• Support maintenance of technical documentations for processes and equipment.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent and Journeyman Card

Associates Degree with 3 years of experience
