Aspire Talent Solutions in Geneva, IL is seeking two maintenance mechanics for 2nd and 3rd shifts to support a continuous, around-the-clock chemical process. The role involves maintaining pumps, mixers, reactors, and motors, with emphasis on safe operation in a hazardous environment.

You will troubleshoot 480V circuits and VFDs, perform preventive work, and document tasks in the CMMS while collaborating with production, engineering, and QC. Overtime and planned shutdowns are expected.

Qualificações

• AAS or maintenance certifications, or 10+ years of manufacturing maintenance in place of that.
• Chemical, process, or industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Strong mechanical skills with pumps, mixers, motors, and piping.
• 480V and VFD troubleshooting preferred, especially for 3rd shift.
• PSM experience a plus.
• PLC knowledge a plus, not required.
• Solid understanding of OSHA, LOTO, and hazardous material handling.
• Must bring own basic hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair pumps, mixers, reactors, motors, piping, valves, and transfer equipment on a continuous process
• Rebuild pumps, service mixers, swap motors, and handle wiring
• Troubleshoot 480V circuits and VFDs; PLC knowledge helps on some shifts
• Complete preventive and predictive work and record it in the CMMS
• Get equipment back up fast when something fails mid-run
• Work with production, engineering, and QC on what gets fixed first
• Support quarterly shutdowns and the annual plant turnaround
• Follow PSM, OSHA, LOTO, and site safety procedures
