Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Summary

Facility Services at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic with extensive experience installing, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical systems and equipment in regulated facilities. Responsible for performing detailed inspections, executing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring building systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with institutional and safety standards. Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, sound troubleshooting skills, and exceptional attention to detail, with the flexibility to support building and infrastructure maintenance needs as assigned. The Senior Maintenance Mechanic is known for a proactive approach, practical problem‑solving, and dedication to minimizing downtime in mission‑critical environments.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

Department-specific Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and meet Baylor College of Medicine's driving eligibility requirements, including a clean driving record and a minimum of three years of U.S. driving history.
