Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Illinois to lead a team responsible for safe maintenance and repair of production equipment across the site. You will manage preventive programs, coordinate with Production Team Management, and drive uptime improvements while coordinating with contractors.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, proven leadership, and familiarity with industrial systems such as HVAC, motors, and PLCs. Salary range reflects market and location.

Qualifications

• Several years in maintenance management or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute maintenance projects with the team.
• Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules.
• Report non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Issue purchase orders for maintenance projects.
• Evaluate training needs for maintenance staff.
• Oversee repair and installation activities.
• Identify critical spare parts and manage inventory.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Manage relationships with contractors and external providers.
