Job summary

GPI Investment LLC, located in Killeen, TX, seeks a reliable Lead Maintenance to oversee daily upkeep, supervise the team, and ensure a safe, well-kept community for residents. You will perform essential repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances, conduct preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors for larger projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience, HVAC certification preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of apartment/building maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the maintenance team in daily operations
• Complete work orders efficiently, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on property equipment and units
• Ensure grounds and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and order parts as needed
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger repairs or projects
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies
