Job summary

TemPositions Logistics seeks a senior-level Maintenance Technician III for our client location in New Jersey. You will operate under minimal supervision, serving as the premier technical authority and floor leader for facility maintenance in a high-volume cold storage environment.

You will mentor junior technicians, lead complex troubleshooting across production equipment and HVAC/refrigeration, and drive continuous equipment reliability while upholding GMP and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience with senior/lead responsibility.
• Expertise in power blueprint reading, PLCs, digital logic, and electromechanics.
• HS diploma or GED; associates degree or journeyman certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair critical failures across production machinery and HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based automation and control circuits.
• Lead as a technical escalation point for major breakdowns.
• Read and interpret advanced circuit diagrams and blueprints.
• Mentor junior technicians and support PM program improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement countermeasures.
• Maintain OSHA safety, GMP compliance, and LOTO protocols.
