Job summary
Caesars Palace is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure efficient operation and safety of all building systems. You will repair, maintain, and optimize water heaters, pumps, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical components to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
The role requires knowledge of local codes and NEC standards, plus experience in central plant operations and boiler systems within a hotel/casino setting. You will lead by example and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
- Journeyman status with broad multi-discipline proficiency.
- Experience with plumbing, welding, electrical systems and boiler operations.
- Knowledge of central plant equipment like chillers, pumps and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform necessary repairs to maintain property operations.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints to minimize disruption.
- Maintain knowledge of water heaters, pumps, plumbing, and related systems.
- Record maintenance activities and equipment data accurately.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules and safety standards.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as required.
- Train less-experienced personnel in electrical equipment and building systems.
