ManpowerGroup is seeking a Migration Architect – Mainframe to GCP for our client in Atlanta. You will lead large-scale mainframe modernization and cloud migration programs to Google Cloud Platform, advising executives and shaping roadmaps.

The role requires 12+ years in enterprise architecture and 6+ years in mainframe modernization, with deep GCP knowledge. This is an opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and contribute to strategic cloud transformations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise application and platform architecture.
• 6+ years of experience in mainframe modernization or legacy transformation.
• Proven expertise leading enterprise-scale mainframe-to-cloud migration programs.
• Deep knowledge of GCP architecture and services (Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, GKE).

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale mainframe modernization and cloud migration programs to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Advise executive stakeholders on cloud transformation strategies and roadmaps.
• Assess and modernize legacy systems built on COBOL, PL/ICICS, IMSDB2, VSAM, JCL, and batch workloads.
• Design migration strategies including re-host, re-platform, and re-factor approaches.
• Develop end-to-end GCP architecture covering applications, data, networking, security, governance, and disaster recovery.
