The ideal candidate will have extensive software development experience, particularly in IBM z/OS, and will possess a mastery of REXX scripting. Responsibilities include designing product features, producing unit tests, and serving as an escalation point for complex issues.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on software development experience in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment.
• Mastery of REXX scripting – a core skill for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to parse, analyze, and act on SMF (System Management Facility) records.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain product features for NetMaster and SOLVE.
• Produce unit tests and perform functional/integration testing.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers.
