Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an experienced z/OS Platform Lead for CICS, MQ, and zCEE across multiple Sysplexes. You will own performance, security, and resiliency, drive capacity planning, and develop platform roadmaps. Mentoring the team and communicating with executives are essential.

This onsite role requires deep expertise in z/OS engineering, WLM, and related tools, with a focus on delivering reliable mainframe services and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in z/OS / CICS, MQ or zCEE engineering.
• 3+ years in a lead role, or Project Management (roadmapping), or developing KPIs for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall health, security, resiliency, and performance of System z CICS for z/OS, MQ for z/OS, and z/OS zCEE across multiple Sysplexes and CECS.
• Manage z/OS networking for CICS, MQ and zCEE connectivity (TCPIP, LU6.2, Sockets, EXCI).
• Develop and present z/OS zCEE, CICS and MQ roadmaps (HA, SYSPLEX/CICSPLEX).
• Lead problem troubleshooting efforts and root cause analyses for P1 & P2 incidents.
• Provide technical direction and education to programmers, analysts, and support.
• Coordinate with users to determine symptoms and ensure resolution.
