Job summary

Experis is seeking a Senior Mainframe Payments Developer to join our client in New York, NY. The role focuses on supporting critical ACH processing systems and enhancing Fiserv PEP applications, leveraging COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.

You will analyze complex payment flows, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate resolutions with business and operations teams. On-site work in NYC is required for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Extensive mainframe development experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
• Hands-on Fiserv PEP experience and ACH/NACHA knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot payments, processing bottlenecks, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance Fiserv PEP applications for ACH processing.
• Develop changes using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM and related mainframe tech.
• Analyze and resolve ACH processing issues and production incidents.
• Understand end-to-end ACH flows including settlement and returns.
• Collaborate with business and operations to perform root cause analysis.
