Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Lead Software Engineer to maintain and enhance the Fiserv PEP ACH payments platform in a large mainframe environment. You will develop COBOL/JCL/DB2/CICS/VSAM components, ensure performance, reliability, and compliance, and support production issues.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive incident management, deployments, and system improvements to deliver accurate ACH processing and timely settlements in a fast-paced financial services setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS and VSAM in large mainframe environments.
• Strong knowledge of Fiserv PEP and ACH payments processing.
• Ability to analyze and enhance payment processing workflows and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance the Fiserv PEP application.
• Develop technical and business-driven enhancements for ACH processing.
• Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of mainframe systems.
• Provide production support, incident management and root cause analysis.
