Job summary

MphasiS Corporation USA is seeking an experienced IBM mainframe developer to support COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL, CA7 and Changeman in a large corporate environment.

You will predominantly work on production support, debugging and maintenance, with exposure to SDLC, CI/CD, application resiliency and security. On-call rotation may be required, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on IBM Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL and mainframe utilities.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for production support and issue resolution.
• Experience across SDLC with agile methods, CI/CD, resiliency and security.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams and drive results.
• On-call support for all environments including weekends on rotation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving application issues promptly.
• Knowledge in Banking and Cards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for IBM mainframe applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation and production incident handling.
• Collaborate with large teams to implement fixes and improvements.

Job Description:

• Solid Hands-on experience in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman and IBM Mainframe Utilities
• Strong Analytical and debugging skills and experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
• On-call support for all environment including weekends on rotation basis and to participate in production issues if any arise during non on call support
• Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Knowledge in Banking and Cards will be best
