Job summary

KPG99 INC is seeking a senior mainframe architect to lead architecture, design, and implementation of mainframe solutions in a complex environment. You will provide technical leadership to development, operations, and modernization teams, align efforts with business strategy, and drive cost-effective, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM z/OS mainframe technologies and integration.
• TOGAF or IBM System Architect certification preferred.
• Financial services or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design and implementation of mainframe solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to mainframe development, operations and modernization teams.
• Establish intake and change processes for new workloads and tune CICS, MQ and z/OS Connect services.
• Review telemetry and traces to improve availability, security and performance.
• Collaborate with business, application and infrastructure stakeholders to define requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive modernization.
